I’m Laurie born in Manchester and live in Liverpool so you could say an honorary Scouser. Got into paddleboarding a few years ago on a trip to Scotland and never looked back! I love it! As well as paddleboarding I also love spending time in the outdoors and camping in our micro camper. Also really love doing puzzles too like jigsaws or breakout rooms and have to say I have a pretty good escape record!!

Which Bluefin board do you have?
I have a Rogue board and a Cruise Lite 10'

How long have you been a Bluefin ambassador?
I have been an ambassador for 2 years now

Why do you love Bluefin?
I got my first bluefin board cruise 10 8 about 4 years ago after hiring boards for a few years! Bluefin were affordable and durable boards and gave back to the planet by planting trees with Ecologi and now also partnered with Surfers Against Sewage.

I loved the freedom of having my own board and that’s what Bluefin gave me and I have since upgraded to the Rogue board and got a Cruise Lite to change up my paddles.

What's your favourite SUP spot?
Favourite spot I have been is Loch Lomond in Scotland but I don’t get up there as often as I like so would say I love Llyn Tegid and Llyn Padarn to visit more regularly! All stunning locations!

Hi I’m Tom, I’m 30 from North Devon, and have been a keen paddle boarder for the past few years. Living right by the sea my whole life, I have always loved anything to do with the big blue whether that’s swimming, surfing, beach cleans or just walking my dog with my fiancé. I’m not gonna lie I’m obsessed, it’s given me such a great hobby while having a busy job and coping with various life challenges. Paddle boarding has been such a big part to my mental health, this helped me so much when coping with my brother passing away not too long ago, he loved the sea and rivers while fishing, so I get to think of him even more while out on the water, paddle boarding gives me that.

Which Bluefin board do you have
10’8 cruise in Gecko Blue

How long have you been a Bluefin ambassador?
20 months

Why do you love Bluefin?
I love the ethos of Bluefin, the real value of why we all paddle board while yet providing quality reliable boards.

What's your favourite SUP spot?
Wow tough question, so many amazing spots here in North Devon. If I had to choose one, it would be Woolacombe, breathtaking coastline, surf and beach, it’s just endless beauty everywhere you look on and off the water.

Always do your research, checking apps/websites for tide times, wind and weather can make all the difference for having a fun safe paddle to a scary risky paddle.

We are Hannah (human) , Finn & Maple (dogs) and we live on the west coast of Scotland. I work in finance and when not doing the 9-5 I enjoy paddleboarding with the dogs and wildlife spotting. Maple likes to sit up the front and captain the board, Finn normally is fast asleep by my feet and I am made to do all the hard work.

Which Bluefin board do you have?
I have the Cruise 10’8 and the Cruise 12’

How long have you been a Bluefin ambassador?
A year

Why do you love Bluefin?
The boards are great quality, the electric pump is super quick and easy to use and I love the ethos of planting a tree for every board sold

My name is Bex and I am from Liverpool. I am a mum to two wonderful boys and I am a speech and language therapist. I love the outdoors and you will often find me hiking and paddleboarding. I have been paddleboarding since 2020. I got myself a board after I lost my mum as I needed a sport that was both relaxing and calming, but also exciting. Paddleboarding offers that and so much more. Who knew it was going to be the best therapy. I am so glad I decided to invest in one as I have never looked back. Plus you can take it anywhere and experience different bodies of water. My favourite places are Scotland, Wales and the Lake District. What's not to like!

Which Bluefin board do you have?
10'8 Cruise

How long have you been a Bluefin ambassador?
December 2021

Why do you love Bluefin?
Bluefin boards are great. They are durable, sturdy, quality boards and so much thought has gone into the design from the materials used to colour scheme. But not only that the whole team around the product is brilliant.  You feel part of a family!

What's your favourite SUP spot?
Has to be Scotland- Kinlochleven in Glencoe. Nothing comes close to seeing the reflections of the mountains on the water you are paddling on. You feel like you are upside down.

Look after your fins- lift the back of your board into the water first and push it out so you don't scrape your fins on the deck. As well as this, pull it out of the water the same way (back end first)
