This commitment not only minimizes waste ending up in landfills but also enhances the potential for boards to be cherished second-hand by more paddlers. Reducing our carbon footprint is a core commitment. From sustainable sourcing to eco-friendly production methods, we're continuously improving our processes to minimise environmental impact. We’re always exploring new ways to cut emissions and make paddleboarding a greener adventure.

Packaging
If you’ve bought anything from us recently, you’ll know that we’ve reduced the amount of plastic we use to package our products. Our entire range of boards and paddles is now elegantly packaged in recycled paper, significantly reducing our reliance on single-use plastics. We’re continuing to phase out any remaining plastic used in the process and aim to be 100% plastic free in the next five years.
Our Community
Sustainability is a collective effort. That’s why we actively support beach clean-ups, waterway conservation, and environmental education. We're thrilled to announce our collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage, a dynamic organisation at the forefront of the battle for clean water, the fight against plastic pollution, and the restoration of our precious oceans. Together, we are embarking on a mission to safeguard marine ecosystems, preserve the beauty of our coastlines, and ensure the well-being of both present and future generations.
At Bluefin, we believe in taking action to protect the places we love to explore. That’s why our team regularly gets out onto our local waterways to carry out litter picks, helping to remove waste before it can travel further downstream or reach our oceans. By giving back to the waters on our doorstep, we’re helping to keep them cleaner, healthier and more enjoyable for our communities and local wildlife.
At Bluefin, we’re dedicated to sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint. Our Bluefin Refurb Second Life Edition project involves taking returned boards, repairing them, and giving them a second life. These boards are restored to full functionality and resold, keeping them out of landfill
